Beyond the Castle

Beyond the Castle aims to improve the urban green space around Lancaster Castle down to the quayside, and enhance connections across the site and through to the City Centre.
In 2014 with support from the Heritage Lottery Fund we are focusing on the historic importance of the site with events aimed at preserving and understanding archaeology.

The Creative Exchange

Hack Lancaster event is supported by The Creative Exchange, an AHRC-funded Knowledge Exchange project based out of ImaginationLancaster, at Lancaster University. CX is aimed at exploring the idea of Digital Public Space and unlocking closed public data for everyone to benefit from.
